Escola do Futuro has participated in the international accreditation process since 2006, displaying its continuous search for educational excellence. This accreditation lasts for five years, with periodic visits and reports to monitor the quality of the education offered by the institution.
Cognia (formerly AdvancED), is an American non-governmental official organization dedicated to promoting academic excellence around the world and endorses this process with the School.
The organizations that are part of Cognia are: The North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA/CASI), Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC), and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation, and School Improvement (SACS/CASI).
It is through accreditation that education becomes internationally recognized. Consequently, high school graduate students receive a diploma, which is recognized in the United States and accepted by all American universities.
The school is recognized by MEC (Ministry of Education and Culture) and it has its school curriculum recognized by the national educational parameters and laws. Respecting the educational guidelines mentioned we work with the Anglo Teaching System, one of the most highly regarded teaching materials in Brazilian prestigious schools.
Anglo’s system values interdisciplinary effort, aiming at the essential development of the student. The subjects work with the spiral curriculum, which integrates new pedagogical strategies, including issues of the immediate reality, creates an interdisciplinary integration, approaches the contents and themes in a transversal way, values reading, writing, and logical thinking. The material contributes to ethical and citizen development, as well as makes our students able to compete for seats in the most competitive universities.
